We have 3 wonderful staff working at Puri Jati Retreat to take care of you during your stay, while still respecting your privacy and your freedom to interact with them as little or as much as you please. You also have a driver at your disposal. They have all been with us for many years and we feel they are part of our family – we hope you do too!

As well as being our Villa Manager, Ayu keeps our villa spotless with her daily cleaning and care. She is also a very good cook and we think having her cater for you during your stay is an ideal way to sample the local Balinese cuisine, without having to leave the villa. She can also do your laundry for you – free of charge! Ayu is married with 3 daughters.
Sangtu is our Night Watchman. He patrols the property at night, so don’t be alarmed if you see his flashlight. He also takes such good care of our gardens, water features and swimming pool. Sangtu helped build our villa in 2006 and he still helps us regularly with maintenance projects to keep the villa looking so beautiful. Sangtu is married with 2 sons.
Made is our preferred driver. We recommend he meets you at the airport (or location of your choice in Bali) and brings you to the villa in his air-conditioned car. He is safe, knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. He can take you anywhere you want and can answer many of your questions about Bali customs and culture. He is married with 1 son and lives in Lovina.
